    I decided to apply for this position because I spent a lot of time studying finances and economics at the University of Latvia. I graduated with a bachelor's degree in Economics. I studied the stock market for many years and worked to promote ideas that supported small businesses.

    My goal is to work my way up the ladder by building relationships and serving the public. My ultimate goal is to one day run for public office and a position like this certainly would help me.

    I understand that my role in this position would be to work with businesses to implement regulations and make sure that all enacted laws are being obeyed. I am prepared to handle business license applications for business registrations, and dealing with all of the paperwork that goes along with it. I will continuously work with and provide updates to the Commissioner of Licensing to ensure that everything is operating smoothly.

    As a supporter of small businesses, I will reach out to business owners on a personal level and work with them to ensure that all regulations are being met and all businesses are following the law by acquiring licenses and other permits. I look forward to the opportunity of serving as a Licensing Official if I am lucky enough to be accepted for this job role.
