PERSONAL PROTECTION
The key role of the Department is the provision of personal security services for both elected and appointed City Leadership Officials.

Furthermore, this includes the protection of a terrain and / or building being used by the protégé. All these services are provided to allow City Leadership to do their duties free from any fear of threats or attacks.
The Personal Protection Bureau was established by Mayoral Executive Directive under the Office of the Mayor to provide Leadership Security for City Officials. These services are offered to City Councillors, The Mayor and Deputy Mayor and City Leadership of the Executive branch.
Upon employment, Personal Protection Officers are paid the regular entry salary ($1.500 per Hour - Personal Protection Officers). Career progression is rewarded with an increase in salary and can rise up to $3.000 per Hour upon reaching the highest paygrade for Field Officers (Personal Protection Officer in Charge). Opportunities to further advance the career within the Bureau beyond this point are open.

3. The applicant must not have been convicted of a felony or a misdemeanor.
4. The applicant must possess a valid PF license, CCW license and Guard Card.
5. The applicant must possess a valid San Andreas Drivers License
6. The applicant must show the willingness weekend- and holiday work, along with night shifts.
1. Previous service within the Military and / or Law Enforcement sector is highly desired.
2. Previous work experience within the private security sector does not gain any advances.
3. The applicant is expected to be in good physical condition.
1. Personal Protection Officers follow instructions, whilst also being able to exchange and communicate their views on given instructions, possessing the skill to express doubts on operations in a formal manner without harming the given goals. The workers strive together in all situations.
2. A profound understanding of risk assessment and the ability to identify and avoid unnecessary dangerous situations is an absolute priority for any member of Leadership Security Detail. Moreover, they can communicate present risks to their colleagues, keeping everyone safe at all times.
3. Employees attend regular Bureau training to learn, adapt, and practice new concepts and skills which will be used in the line of duty. Therefore, workers are capable of adapting to new environments and tasks quickly.
4. Personal Protection Officers understand the usage of motorized or otherwise powered equipment.
STEP I. PRELIMINARY JOB APPLICATION — This is the first step in applying for a job as a Personal Protection Officer for the City of Los Santos. Aside from getting a complete overview of the applicant's professional track record, the primary objective of this application is to assess the applicant’s proficiency in the English language and motivation for the job. STEP II. BACKGROUND CHECK — Upon submitting your application, recruitment officials will verify whether the information contained within is truthful. STEP III. JOB INTERVIEW — This will be the third stage in becoming a security employee for the City. You will be invited to our Headquaters for an interview with the City Employee in charge over the recruitment. The interview will last about half an hour.

STEP IV. PHYSICAL APPRAISAL - In this stage, you will have to prove your physical fitness. You will participate in several exercises and exams in order to be able to give an objective assessment. Please bring appropriate clothing (sportswear) with you for this examination.

STEP V. JOB INDUCTION — After successfully passing the interview and physical appraisal, you will be obliged to the City Charter and several City Personell Policies. After that, you will receive your badge and can now officially call yourself a member of the Personal Protection Bureau.
