Status of Recruitment: Closed — Number of Positions: Several — Duration of Position: Continuous — Classification: Paygrade I: $1,500.00

Assist salaried/leadership personnel in the Office of City Operations through direct clerical assistance to include, but not limited to the following;
  • Develop, proof read, or analze polices and documentation before their release.
  • Organize and correct city documents to ensure compliance with all city regulations.
  • Perform as-needed direct task directives given by superiors to assist in office operations.

The role of the City Operations Officer revolves around interdepartmental cooperation within the Los Santos City Government. The power and authority vested in The City calls for the planning, organisation and direction of the activities of a large number of City departments. In order to fully commit to the operations of all departments with an enterprise-wide perspective, the Mayor is supported by the City Operations Officer. The COO presides over the Board of Directors while taking into account the political vision and guidelines set forth by the Mayor's Office.


1. The applicant must possess a clean and current driving license.
2. The applicant may not have been convicted of a felony or misdemeanor.
1. An associates degree or a bachelors degree. If no degree, must be enrolled in a higher learning institution and agree to function as an intern level.

1. You must have a basic understanding of all aspects of city governance and an up-to-date knowledge of current events dominating the news.
2. You must display strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to perform compelling presentations.
3. You exhibit superior critical thinking and analytical skills. Your organizational abilities enable you to be highly detail-oriented.
STEP I. JOB CANDIDACY — The first stage of the selection process consists of a formal notice of intent by the job candidate to compete for the position. Such notice of intent shall be in writing and submitted to the Office of City Operations Officer, along with a full resume, a cover letter, and any referrals that can be considered relevant to the selection process.

STEP II. BACKGROUND CHECK — Upon submitting your candidacy, recruitment officials will verify whether the information contained within is truthful. By applying, you agree that your personal information which includes your full name, legal address, driving license, and criminal record will be subject to review by the City.

STEP III. JOB INTERVIEW — The second stage involves a one-to-one interview. The focus of the interview shall primarily be directed at the knowledge of the candidate, and will include both theoretical questions as well as a practical assignment.

STEP IV. EXAMINATION —The recruitment process is concluded with one last interview conducted by two or more of the City's leadership. Its goal is to determine the candidate's soft skills, work attitude, and leadership qualities that he or she will demonstrate in the performance of their duties as a city official.
