ABOUT THE JOB POSITION

New applicants will go through training provided by our facility to become a Coroner, as a new hire your main job is to complete the field training program and become a fully qualified Coroner. As a new applicant, you will have the same duties as a coroner, however you will not be permitted to receive calls alone until they have completed their field training phase. New applicants will become the backbone of the entire department, they will make up the highest percentage of members. Without the new hires, day to day duties will become difficult, the department requires new hires to sustain itself. New applicants are encouraged to put their hearts into the department and are most likely be the people that the public will interact with on a day to day basis since they will be handling the most common calls.

Here at Los Santos Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner we are proud of the heritage of the State, and we're just as proud of the foundations left by previous agencies since our introduction in 1889; From the technology we're utilizing in the field to our extraordinary staff. The Los Santos Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner works hard alongside Law Enforcement Officers to collect evidence when present on the scene of a crime that has led to the death of either a single individual or multiple. We make sure that no tampering of evidence takes place when a corpse is present on scene and treat it with care.


MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

1. The applicant must have attained the age of twenty-one (21) years.
2. The applicant must have a legal address in the State of San Andreas.
3. The applicant may not have been convicted of a felony or a misdemeanor.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

1. Applicants should have a degree in forensic science. This not required but preferred.
2. A valid San Andreas driver's license, or the ability to utilize an alternative method of transportation when required to attend job-related functions.

KEY SKILLS & ABILITIES

1. A high level of literacy is required together with the ability to frame correspondence in a timely manor to fellow departments is crucial..
2. Excellent organizational and time management skills together with the ability to prioritize and manage significant workload under pressure without supervision.
3. The applicant must deal with issues and solve problems, which will be possible through in-depth knowledge of forensic science.

METHOD OF SELECTION

STEP I. PRELIMINARY JOB APPLICATION — This is the first step in applying for a job as a Coroner for the City of Los Santos. Aside from getting a complete overview of the applicant's professional track record, the primary objective of this application is to assess the applicant’s proficiency in the English language and motivation for the job. STEP III. JOB INTERVIEW —You will be invited to a formal interview with one of our recruitment officials. It will also include theoretical questions as well as a practical assignment. Before attending the interview, it is highly recommended to study the job vacancy thoroughly as it is considered to be a good preparation for the interview.
