LOS SANTOS CITY GOVERNMENT
THE CULTURAL RECOGNITION PROGRAM

- AS PREPARED FOR PUBLICATION-
Los Santos, SA ~ Monday, 13th of October 2024. Last revised by Natalia Rane

The Cultural Recognition Program is a City of Los Santos-led initiative that identifies and rewards events, performances, and heritage-based activities that significantly contribute to the cultural essence of Los Santos. The program aims to evaluate these events to determine their cultural relevance and impact. Recognitions will be presented as significant financial rewards to organizers whose contributions have enriched the city’s artistic and cultural history, showcasing a strong connection to the historic heritage of Los Santos. Residents are encouraged to suggest events they believe are culturally significant, and outstanding events organizers may also receive a physical plaque, commemorating their lasting contribution to the community. The Department of Cultural Affairs seeks to foster a thriving cultural environment through this program by acknowledging and supporting individuals and organizations that have demonstrated excellence in enriching the cultural landscape of Los Santos.

1. The honoree must have attained the age of 18.

2. The honoree must have a legal address in the State of San Andreas.

To qualify for recognition under the program, events or activities must occur after October 20th, 2024. This timeframe allows the Department of Cultural Affairs to focus on recent contributions that reflect the current cultural climate of Los Santos,

Misdemeanors will be less scrutinized and will not significantly impact the eligibility of prospective honorees. The quality of the event, recent contributions of the organizer, and supporting documentation will all be taken into account as favorable considerations in this criteria.
  • The honoree must not have received a Cultural Recognition award within the three months preceding their eligibility for a subsequent recognition.
