    2.4 Specific location where the event was held: Cougar Avenue Square in Morningwood.
    2.5 Why do you believe the event deserves recognition?

    The event that was hosted by the Morningwood Community Center, in partnership with the City Government brought people together on the night before Halloween to celebrate it, together. With it's curated playlist made out of horror-themed music, it's screen shows of horror movie and a thematically set up Cougar Avenue square, it ended up being a night to remember for many people who attended it. Small local businesses participated at the event, as well, as one of the new initiatives for the Morningwood Community Center is to help out these small and local businesses through partnerships and sponsorships. Trinkets, souvenirs such as plushies, flowers, bracelets and glowy accessories were offered on-site, as well as coffee, food and booze, to properly celebrate Halloween.

    People really came together, be it through dancing the night away, partying and enjoying the festivities, as well as connecting with one another through their costumes. A lot of work were put into them, clearly, and some even ended up winning prizes for their creativity and for how good their costumes were. Altogether, the event was meant to be both about social outreach and to have a night "off" for everyone, something that anyone can enjoy, regular partygoers, as well as more reserved individuals who came by for the "spooky vibes" of the square. To top it off, WE Studios made some remarkable pictures of it all to immortalize it all, on top of the City Government PR team who made a really interesting and eloquent article about both the event and the Center, itself, bringing it into public light, some more.

The event proposed here was clearly unique and fundamental in fostering a community gathering for the residents of Los Santos. However, following the Cultural Grant that was awarded to this event, we have decided not to provide additional financial recognition.

Once again, thank you for presenting this event, and we look forward to more events from the Morningwood Community Center.
