    My personal experience of being homeless for most of my teenage years has given me not only firsthand knowledge, but empathy, resilience, and the ability to handle difficult or unpredictable situations. I believe that the homeless of Mission Row would feel comfortable getting help from one of their own, as I have lived alongside them for so long.

    I've applied for this position because I want to help my community who face the same struggles as I have, and show them that there are paths they can take to better their lives. I'd love to help grow hope and wellness in the Mission Row community and provide outreach and support to those in need, whenever they need.
