SUMMARY
The City of Los Santos is currently looking for a business to assist with maintenance of government vehicles' fleet. Business will provide services to ensure the continued good condition and operation of all vehicles required under the scope of the contract.

This public contract entails the following core activities:

  • 1. Vehicles' maintenance
    The Contractor shall bear the responsibility for handling requests regarding to the maintenance of the government vehicles in a specified property, namely Los Santos Official Garage, and other possible locations specified in the contract per request from respected government employees and authorised representatives to ensure vehicles are kept in good condition.

    2. Emergency assistance
    The Contractor shall be responsible for roadside assistance for government vehicles, where necessary and initiated by government employees. This includes providing specified vehicles with fuel, performing towing and ad-hoc maintenance, where requests are reasonable for the scope of this contract and can be performed on the spot.

    • Well-Developed Employee Recruitment Policy
      The Contractor shall be obliged to conduct a comprehensive investigation into the criminal and professional background of job applicants and its current employees. The City shall have the discretionary power to impose a binding decision on the contractor in relation to pending job applications and job candidacies.

    • Well-Financed Training Program
      Road accidents involving commercial vehicles are in most instances caused by human error. New staff members shall be properly instructed and trained. The contractor shall be required to subdue all its subordinates to an extensive training program which enables them to provide necessary services in professional capacity needed.
    • Quality and Efficiency
      The Contractor shall strive for the permanent improvement of the quality of its services and the efficiency of its internal organization. The Contractor must ensure all employees working under the contract are able to work in a high-pressure environment, as well as ensure the minimal amount of mistakes during maintenance of government vehicles.

    • Record Keeping
      The Contractor shall be responsible for providing the City with record of their work, as well as obtaining required confirmation from government agencies involved, to ensure compensation is transferred properly and without delay.
All information gathered by the contractor and its employees and/or agents in light of the performance of this contract is strictly confidential. Upon assignment of a contract to the contractor he or she shall be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement. Furthermore, all parties involved in the bidding for a public contract shall be subject to a thorough background investigation. The City reserves the right to refuse any contract bid without motivation based on the results of such background check.
The City shall compensate the contractor on a bi-weekly basis in the form of a specified payment based on the amount of work performed, with possibility of deviation specified in the contract. A compensatory arrangement can be negotiated with regards to operational availability during hours deemed necessary. Where need arises for vehicle parts, supplies and/or equipment which is necessary to perform Contractor's duties, the the City shall reimburse the Contractor, subject to approval of an authorised government representative.
The City shall retain the right to adjust, modify, change and amend the terms and condition of an open call as deemed necessary; existing contracts would not be affected by proposal change, unless a specifica clause is agreed in the contract itself..
