While supporting the Director of Health and Human Services, the Medical Director enforces the City of Los Santos Medical Licensing and Regulation Act. Typical job responsibilities include:
  • The issuance of licenses and certifications to qualified providers.
  • Maintaining a public database of approved individuals licensed or certified to practice medicine.
  • Creating public health guidelines and protocols.
  • Temporarily or permanently suspending licenses or certifications if an investigation deems gross violations have occurred.
  • Training and managing Quality Consultants.
  • Consulting with licensed and certified healthcare providers on issues about public health while referring these issues to the Public Health Regulatory Committee as necessary.

The Department of Health & Human Services, under the Los Santos City Government, is the one responsible for promoting the social well-being of the members of our community, through the development of programs that focus on several core issues, such as healthcare, housing, employment and more.

Our programs focus on providing struggling individuals with support and guidance, with the objective of bringing back their lost independence, productivity and/or health, empowering them as human beings and citizens, helping them get their life back on track, overcoming the obstacles they may be facing and finally allowing them to pursue their life goals on their own.

The three branches of our Department are: Community Development, Healthcare Research & Quality and Children and Families. All of our programs fit under one of these three branches, although all of them work in close collaboration.
  • Community Development: The Community Development branch focuses on the social and financial issues of individuals. Some programs that are developed under this branch include Affordable Housing, Employment Guidance or the Community Center Program.
  • Healthcare Research & Quality: The Healthcare Research & Quality branch focuses on the Healthcare System and issues on the medical field our community may face. Some programs that are developed under this branch include the Rehabilitation Program for Substance Abusers or the Disabilities Support Program.
  • Children and Families: The Children and Families branch focuses on the minors of our communities that struggle the most given their vulnerable situations. Some programs that are developed under this branch include the Child Protection Program or the Foster Care/Adoption Program.



1. The applicant must have attained the age of twenty-eight (28) years.

3. The applicant must not have been convicted of a felony or a misdemeanor.
4. The applicant must have a degree from a college or university with accreditation recognized in the United States of America.
5. The applicant must be a licensed Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) in the State of San Andreas.
6. The applicant must be a board-certified physician who has completed their residency training.


1. The applicant would be familiar with the City of Los Santos Medical Licensing and Regulation Act, state/federal laws, and regulations.
2. The applicant must have obtained a valid San Andreas driver's license or can utilize an alternative method of transportation when required to attend job-related functions.

1. A high level of literacy is required together with the ability to frame correspondence in a user-friendly but legally correct style and to prepare file notes for presentation to department leadership.
2. Excellent organizational and time management skills together with the ability to prioritize and manage significant workload under pressure without supervision.
3. The ability to maintain a calm and professional approach when faced with very challenging and sometimes high profile clients is essential.
4. The applicant must deal with issues and solve problems, which will be possible through in-depth knowledge of procedures and relevant laws.
5, Strong social awareness of local issues as well as knowledge of the local communities in the districts of Los Santos is advantageous.
