While nothing directly noteworthy or revelevant, I dabble in working on things like vehicles, electrical circuits and things like that.

I have decided to apply for this vacancy as I have recently returned to the city after a brief hiatus to Nashville to deal with a family emergency. Upon my return, it was discovered that my previous position, Department of Transportation Office Manager, was made moot. Having had some conversations prior to my hiatus about moving to Public Works,. I decided it would be best for me to apply direct to Public Workls upon my return. While I do not have a direct skillset from my youth for the position, I do know that I learn quickly and effectively. The office environment was getting sort of stale, and I would like to begin working with my hands and doing more active labour-intensive jobs.
